How do I get Windows to start in Safe Mode?
It depends on which version you are running. To start Windows 98 or Me in Safe Mode, restart the computer. After the Bios checks are finished, hold down Ctrl. For Windows 95 use the F8 key. When the Startup menu appears, choose Safe Mode and press Enter.
